Velvet weaver c.1930s – 1950s.

Wove the velvet for the coronation of King George VI and came out of retirement to weave the velvet for Queen Elizabeth II. Made honorary freemen of the Worshipful Company of Weavers for the weaving of the coronation velvet in 1953.
