How To Book A Talk

Please complete our talks enquiry form.
Once we receive your talks booking request, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm your booking details and clarify any further requirements.

You will be asked to complete a booking form to reserve your talk slot.

Our team is happy to work with you to ensure that your off-site talk is enjoyable. If you have any special requests or questions please get in touch at info@warnertextilearchive.org.uk.

Our talks are delivered by trained team members who will use a PowerPoint to present the topic of your choice. Please allow at least one hour for the talk to your group. Presentations usually last approximately 45 minutes with time for questions afterwards.

It is easier for us to deliver talks if the group we are visiting has technical display equipment accessible for PowerPoint such as a laptop and projector, but in some circumstances, we can provide the equipment if necessary.

Our team can be flexible on the date or time of your talk. We often deliver talks during the daytime, but we can also attend evening events.

Talks are charged at £85 including VAT. If your group would like us to deliver a talk outside of the Braintree District Council area we will ask you to pay the travel expenses of the presenter. Payment for the talk will be required on the day either via cheque, cash, or BACS payment.

Please confirm all details with us at least 28 days in advance including talk option choice, transport information, or any special requirements.

Our speakers will need time to test their equipment is compatible with yours and set up approximately 30 minutes before the talk is scheduled to start.

Please note that we do not bring any objects from our collections to external talks.
