The Warner Textile Archive is proud to announce the launch of a unique range of luxury wallpapers, reproducing eight vintage textile designs specially chosen from the Archive collection.
With nearly 100,000 items including thousands of inspiring textile samples and paper designs, the Warner Textile Archive represents the truly diverse artistic legacy of Warner & Sons; a design led British textile firm which continually defied convention.
The Warner & Sons collection cannot be pigeon-holed. From stately Victorian damasks to free-spirited twentieth century prints, the company was consistently acknowledged for its artistic merit, with great design always at its core.
To illuminate this internationally significant collection, Archivist Kate Wigley has selected eight designs which speak boldly of Warner & Sons’ cosmopolitan output. Each has been reborn as an exquisite wallpaper, printed in England.
